”The Coordination Council decision is not based on scientific evidence and takes no account of international experience!”Public Health Expert Giorgi Pkhakadze has responded to the decision by the Coordination Council of Georgia.
According to Prof Pkhakadze, people once recovered from COVID may catch it again after 1, 6, 12, or 24 months, with similar examples being multiple worldwide.
In Pkhakadze’s words, recovered patients are also at risk of contracting the virus, and as more time passes, more so.
The expert stresses that COVID passes may be given to citizens recovered from COVID for a maximum of three months.
According to Giorgi Pkhakadze, vaccination is a must 30 days after recovering from the coronavirus.
By the decision of the Coordination Council of Georgia, Georgian citizens who have recovered from COVID-19 may obtain permanent green passes.
